3D Imaging at Icon Orthodontics

Calgary orthodontist, Dr. Corey Low, has recently completed further certification for 3D imaging using our CBCT scanner. As you know, Dr. Low is a pioneer in the use of 3D imaging in Orthodontics.

This novel technology allows Dr. Low to accurately visualize teeth placement and prepare an ideal treatment plan for your dentition. Radiation exposure is kept to a minimum, with one iCAT scan producing less radiation than traditional dental x-rays. In fact, you receive more radiation exposure from an airport scanner than from our iCAT. Your safety is always our priority at Icon Orthodontics. Be assured that our use of this technology is in large part due to the minimal radiation exposure allowed by the iCAT.
